What is required to be eligible for the Owner Occupancy Tax Reduction?
You must have owner your home as of January 1st in the year you apply and it must be your principle place of residence. A homeowner and spouse may only apply for this reduction on one property.
Does the reduction apply to more than one parcel?
The owner occupancy tax reduction applies only to the parcel of land on which you home is located. If your property is larger than one acre, the reduction applies only to one acre of land and the home. Mobile Home owners may also apply.
